NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS POSTED JANUARY 15, 2026
Town of Glocester 2025 Third Quarter tax payment is due on February 2nd, 2026. Interest/penalty will be applied on March 3rd, 2026 on the unpaid quarter at the rate of 8% per annum retroactive to August 1st, 2025. The remaining quarters will be due and payable as stated on the tax bill.
Real Estate tax bills are mailed out once a year and were mailed at the end of July 2025. If you have not received a tax bill, please call 568-6206, ext. 4. Rhode Island General Law (RIGL) § 44-7-7 requires the local tax collector to send a notice to each taxpayer for the amount of tax owed, but specifies that the failure to receive this tax bill does not excuse the nonpayment of the tax or affect its validity or collection proceedings.
Any taxpayer moving (within town or out of town) and/or closing a business must notify the Town with a forwarding address.
